The training will cover Pathophysiology and disease progression, treatment options and management strategies, monitoring symptoms and reporting changes, administering medications and treatments, and maintaining a comfortable and safe environment.
Our central line training covers central line awareness, best practices for maintenance, and strategies to reduce the risk of sepsis, including the Aseptic Non-Touch Technique (ANTT) as well as the definition and purpose of central venous catheters, the anatomy and placement of central lines, common types of central lines (e.g., PICC, tunneled, non-tunneled) and general care of the patient with a central line, including dressing changes, troubleshooting and emergency escalation and care.
Alongside core complex care training, we can offer CSTF-aligned mandatory training and care certificate training that meets the industry standard for health and social care sectors, promotes consistent, evidence-based knowledge in subjects such as data security and information governance, Equality, diversity, and human rights, Safeguarding adults and children, and is delivered in a way that meets UK legal requirements.
